The former husband of America’s Sweetheart has some intimate, full of emotions declarations to People Magazine.
In an interview given from his home outside of Austin, Texas, he explained how it was for him the last year, since breaking up with Sandra Bullock.
“I was at my breaking point” he said. During a period of a 30-day stint at Sierra Tucson treatment center in Arizona the 42-year-old CEO of West Coast Choppers custom motorcycle outfit and host of Discovery Channel’s Monster Garage faced some of his childhood monsters. “I always felt out of place my whole life. I never felt successful, never felt I deserved anything.” Remembering, getting out and coping with the problems of the past is part of any recovering process and for him it was a tough road.
He himself recognized of going through an abusive childhood that made him insecure and hesitant in life. The path to adulthood has been full of turbulences and one of those would manifest in the relationship with Sandra.
After a hard rehabilitation he said he gathered the shredded pieces of his life and started all over again: “I’m moving forward, thinking clearly and becoming a better person. … I have started life over.” He is now writing his memoirs named “American Outlaw” and has closed West Coast Choppers to withdraw from the crowded life into a more rural scenery. “I’ve made my world pretty small, he said about his new life in Texas. “Now I can focus on what’s important: making sure [my] kids get good grades and are happy and healthy.”
Reality TV show host Jesse James and Hollywood star Sandra Bullock got married on 16th July 2010 in a sunset ceremony under a white circus-style tent they thought was so romantic. Their future plans is to have a healthy happy family and to adopt one baby.
It all ended up being just a dream when James, 43, was caught cheating on Sandra, 46. She filed for a divorce and a went on with the adopting plan by herself. She is now the mother of a beautiful baby boy named Louis.
When it comes to the biy, James doesn’t feel in his element talking about him: “Talking about Louis almost felt too intimate”, says James about his mentioning into his memoirs. “He is so sweet and I miss him.”
