Jennifer Lawrence was without a doubt really surprised to discover that some nude pictures of herself have been leaked.
The beautiful and talented actress was so unhappy with everything that has happened that reps for the star actually claimed that Jennifer has contacted authorities for an investigation to be conducted on the case. It seems that the nude photos were stolen and posted online.
The nude pics were first shared online on Sunday. According to Liz Mahoney, the publicist of the star, this is “a flagrant violation of privacy.” “We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible,” the lawyer added.
Reports indicate that Jennifer wants authorities to prosecute the person who has shared these private photos. “The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence,” the spokesman said. No other details have been revealed at this point.
This is not the first time when a famous lady finds nude photos of herself all around the internet. Previous leaks of nude celebrity images include names such as Scarlett Johansson and Christina Aguilera. In these two cases, the person who shared these private photos was caught. Christopher Chaney was sentenced to no less than 10 years in prison.
It has been revealed that an iCloud security leak actually allowed the hacker to access the actress’ phone and all the pictures she had. Apple has not commented on these claims, so it is yet unknown if such a security weakness in the iCloud has led to this situation.
As Jennifer Lawrence seems really willing to get justice, the person who posted these photo will most probably face jail time. The hacker who obtained these photos allegedly offered to release them to the media, in exchange for money.
Photos of Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice were leaked, too, but reps for the two stars claimed that the pics are fakes. On the other hand, a rep for Jennifer Lawrence revealed that the pictures are real and have been obtained from the star’s phone, which had been hacked into.
