Jennifer Garner Opens up about her Divorce

It seems that after months since the separation, Jennifer Garner has finally decided to open up about her divorce. Jennifer said that her marriage to Ben was “real” and compared her divorce to the separation of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. The beautiful actress made these revelations during an interview with Vanity Fair.

“It was a real marriage. It wasn’t for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work,” Jennifer said. “When Jen Aniston and Brad Pitt broke up, I was dying to see something that said they were getting back together,” she added, comparing her divorce to the separation of this famous couple dating years back.

Jennifer and her former husband have three children together and the actress explained that she really tried to make things work between her and Ben. “I’m a pretty hard worker. It’s one of the pains in my life that something I believe in so strongly I’ve completely failed at twice. You have to have two people to dance a marriage,” the star said.

Jennifer went on to add that things are not very simple for her at the moment. “My heart’s a little on the tender side right now, and it’s always easier to focus on the ways that you feel hurt, but I know that, with time and some perspective, I’ll have a clearer sense of where I let the system down, because there’s no way I get off in this,” she said.

Well, one of the most interesting things that Jennifer revealed during her interview is naturally linked to the cheating story involving Ben and the couples’ children’s nanny. Jennifer denied the affair and actually said that she and Ben were separated for quite some time when the nanny scandal broke.

“Let me just tell you something. We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce,” Jennifer said. “She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes. It’s not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives. I have had to have conversations about the meaning of ‘scandal,'” the famous actress concluded.
