Jennifer Garner has finally opened up about her divorce and her life since the separation from famous husband Ben Affleck. And it surely seems that Jennifer is not doing that bad. In fact, during her recent interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer actually explained that she does not hate her former husband.
“No one needs to hate him for me. I don’t hate him. Certainly we don’t have to beat the guy up. Don’t worry – my eyes were wide open during the marriage. I’m taking good care of myself,” the beautiful actress said. However, Jennifer also revealed that dealing with the changes brought by the divorce has not been very simple.
The star said that she actually found comfort in things she used to like. “When the earth shakes, you go to what you know from childhood,” Jennifer said. “All of a sudden I’m sitting down at the piano. I went back to church. I sat down and wrote bad poetry all day because I was so sad. I needed a dance class; it reminded me of my fight scenes [in ‘Alias’] and how I missed that. I feel the need to be physical and I feel the need to punch someone.”
Well, it surely seems that Jennifer is focused on the bright side of things, the famous actress revealing that she is just looking “forward to getting past the pity stage.” “I definitely put a lot of time towards my marriage that I will now have for myself. I don’t know how I will use that,” the star said.
However, this does not mean that Jennifer is ready to get back out there in the dating world. When asked about dating, the star claimed that she doesn’t know when she will be doing that. “It’s just that [from] everyone that I know that is dating it just seems, well … Men don’t call anymore … I want flowers; I don’t want to text. What does that make me? What kind of dinosaur am I?” the star said.
Well, although she may not be 100 percent ready for dating now, Jennifer still has some admires. The star revealed that someone asked her out while being on a plane.
