Jennifer Aniston claims that her value as a woman actually has nothing to do with having or not having children. It is not something very uncommon for women who have no children to meet a series of comments on this fact. Naturally, Jennifer Aniston makes no exception from this point of view.
Jennifer Aniston talked to Carson Daly in a recent interview for the Today Show. The famous actress talked about life without children and the fact that she is constantly questioned about this life choice she made. “Being a woman, your value and worth is associated with your marital status or whether or not you’ve procreated,” Aniston said during her interview.
“I don’t have this sort of checklist of things that have to be done, and.. if they’re not checked, then I’ve failed some part of my feminism or my being a woman or my worth and my value as a woman because I haven’t birthed a child,” the famous actress went on to explain. Moreover, the actress added that she does not understand why people care so much about this.
Jennifer Aniston claimed that she actually thinks it is not fair to put that much pressure on people, as having children or not is a personal decision that anyone can make. Aniston does not like the pressure that has been put on her when it comes to her career and actually she considers pressure good only when it comes to her professional life.
The famous actress revealed that for her branching out and having different types of characters is a great experience. The truth is that Jennifer Aniston has had an incredible career and has enjoyed an amazing evolution when it comes to the roles interpreted. Aniston claimed that she actually is really grateful for her evolution and her history. The actress claims that if she would be able to change something from her past, she would actually change nothing.
Jennifer Aniston is really happy with her life and her career, as she said during her last interview. So, it seems that the star has all that she wanted, even though she has never had children.
