On Sunday, Ivanka Trump, the daughter of business mogul Donald Trump, has given birth to a baby girl, Reuters reports. She and husband Jared Kushner have welcomed into the world the third heir in the new Trump generation.
The former model and “The Apprentice” judge has become a mother, giving birth to a baby daughter on Sunday in New York City. This is the couple’s first child. Ivanka Trump, 29, announced the birth on her Twitter page, texting that she and husband Jared Kushner, 30, “welcomed a beautiful and healthy little girl into the world. We feel incredibly grateful and blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!”
The name of the baby has not been announced yet.
Ivanka shared her pregnancy and motherhood expectations in an interview to Harper’s Bazaar in the June issue. In the interview, she confessed that this will not be her only child as she dreams of having three or four. She said her mother cautioned her about the responsibility of having a child and told her “speak to me after you have your first”.
It is clear that Ivanka hasn’t really thought about what having a baby means. She was amazed to find out how often you have to feed a newborn. “I work so close to home that I figured I’d return to work and the baby nurse would bring the baby to me, and I’d run home periodically, and I’d make it work “ she told the magazine. “But every two hours? That’s a whole other level”.
Admitting she went through a “first-mother-syndrome”, Ivanka said the read many books on how to raise a baby. “I’m already on what I should be doing when she is three and when I should introduce new languages.”
Ivanka’s baby girl is the third heir in the third generation of Trumps, starting with the business magnate Donald Trump. Ivanka’s older brother, Donald Jr. has already two children: daughter Madison, age 4, and Donald III, age 2.
