iPhone 6 to be Launched in China

The new and much expected iPhone 6 might be coming to China, soon, as well. So, Chinese fans of this new phone should know that the release moment is coming sooner than imagined and they might be able to purchase the iPhone 6 in the near future.

As expected, China was not on the list of countries where iPhone 6 was launched last week. Since the new phone was revealed, its introduction on the Chinese market has been much expected. So, it was known that the iPhone 6 will sooner or later be launched in China, too. New reports reveal that on Thursday, Apple has received a regulatory approval for the iPhone 6 to tap into the country’s domestic frequencies.

However, this does not mean that Apple has now all the approvals it needs to launch the new phone on the market. Actually, it will also need approval from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is yet to see when Apple will receive this approval and be able to move on with the plan to launch the new phone.

Well, Apple seems very determined to conquer the Chinese market with this release, so it will surely show a lot of efforts. Moreover, Apple actually claimed that it plans on launching the new phone in as many countries as possible by the end of the year. So, Apple opted for a rather aggressive campaign, willing to have the device available in sale in more countries, compared to the previous launch.

China was not on the initial list, but this market is amazingly important for Apple. So, there is no wonder that Apple is trying to get everything it needs for this launch to be made in the months left until the end of the year. China has actually been an interest point for Apple for quite some time now. The country has a fast growing middle class and a booming consumer sector, while Tim Cook claimed several times that this market is really important for Apple.

The new iPhone 6 will hit stores on Friday in Japan, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, but also Canada, US, Germany, France, Puerto Rico and the UK. Apple is yet to comment on these new revelations.
