It hasn’t been more than a month since Huawei has launched the Honor 6 and it looks like they came up with an upgrade and unveiled the Honor 6 Plus. The Chinese smartphone maker has launched their new product at the 798 Arts District, placed in China’s capital city. Huawei Honor comes with a 5.5-inch and offers features similar to the ones of the Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus, including a large 3,600mAh battery and a dual 8-megapixeal rear. With its dual-camera system, the Honor 6 Plus offers a full control of the focus after the shot has been taken.
Huawei Honor 6 Plus comes with a nice and refreshing design, having only 7.5mm and featuring the black glass design of the Honor 6. On the sides, it features a so called metallic strip, due the fact that it feels like plastic. If you are looking more closely you will see that the Honor 6 Plus looks the same as the Honor 6, only that it has two cameras on the back and it is slightly larger. This is not a bad thing, if you are a fan of the Honor 6, as you will certainly want to buy the Honor 6 Plus with two cameras.
This new phone comes with a Kirin 925 octa-core processor, meaning that it has Cortex-A15 processor and ARM Cortex-A7, with one doing most of the work, while the other one is just for navigating on the internet for less tasks to save power. It also has a full-HD resolution, with 1,920×1,080 pixels, this means 401 pixels per inch. Beside the incredible screen, you will get 3GB Ram and 32GB of onboard storage and you can add up to 128GB through microSD storage. The Honor 6 Plus is powered by Android KitKat 4.4, not by Lollipop 5.0, but it also has Huawei Emotion UI 3.0 overlayed. This means that the apps are always on your home screen, like on iOS.
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus comes in three colors: white, black and gold. You will find it at the cost of 400 dollars for the 4G version and for the 3G-only version you will have to pay 325 dollars.
