House of Cards Canceled after allegations against Kevin Spacey

Famous actor Kevin Spacey is in the middle of a huge scandal. The popular Hollywood star was accused of making sexual advances on a teen boy. After the allegations, Kevin Spacey apologized and confessed that he is gay. Following the scandal, Netflix decided to cancel famous television show House of Cards, in which Spacey is the main actor.

The producers of the show announced the decision to cancel House of Cards after the allegations emerged, but a source said according to ABC News that they actually made this decision several months ago. The producers made no other official comments for the moment.

The allegations against the famous actor were made by Anthony Rapp during an interview with BuzzFeed News. Rapp claimed that he attended a party in the actor’s apartment back in 1986 when it all happened. At that time Spacey was 26 and Rapp was only 14. The man said that Spacey picked him up, placed him on his bed and climbed on top of him. Rapp revealed that he managed to get away unharmed.

Kevin Spacey did not admit that the event happened, but he did issue an apology. He claimed that he doesn’t remember this story, but apologized if it really took place as Rapp claimed. “I’m beyond horrified to hear his story. I honestly do not remember the encounter, it would have been over 30 years ago. But if I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior,” Spacey shared in a Twitter message.

However, the famous actor went on to make a revelation. He said that because of this story he decided to address the rumors that have been on regarding his sexuality. The actor claimed that he has had relationships with both men and women, but he now decided to live his life as a gay man. “I my life I have had relationships with both men and women. I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man,” Spacey wrote.
