Gwyneth Paltrow – The New Face Of Hugo Boss Perfume “Nuit”
Gwyneth Paltrow has been co-opted before for various healthy eating campaigns, but her image was never used for the promotion of a perfume. This time, however, the Oscar-winning actress was selected to represent the new face of Hugo Boss’ latest perfume, Nuit Pour Femme, says Daily Makeover.
The 39-year-old star has always impressed designers with her amazing body and stylish looks. It was, therefore, only natural that she was chosen to represent the new fragrance for women created by Hugo Boss. The campaign hasn’t been released yet, but the company has provided beauty magazines with a first behind-the-scenes image as a preview of the product.
Gerd Von Podewils, Global Marketing Director for Hugo Boss Fragrances, released the statement saying that the company is proud to announce their new collaboration with actress Gwyneth Paltrow. He further explained that their choice was based on the actress’ “effortless style, captivating beauty and remarkable [career] achievements”. The new fragrance from Hugo Boss, “Nuit”, was designed for successful women and, in Podewils’ opinion, Paltrow is the embodiment of female success.
Gwyneth also stated that she is honored to represent Boss Nuit Pour Femme. She felt really flattered by this collaboration because the Boss woman represents all the things she strives towards in her own life. The actress continued her statement by saying that the Boss woman is very ambitious, yet very feminine at the same time, managing to perfectly balance these two dimensions in life.
Boss Nuit Pour Femme was inspired by LBD looks because it is as simple and refined as a little black dress. Paltrow confessed that she fell in love with the concept of the campaign as soon as she first saw it because it is incredibly feminine. In addition, she likes the idea that a perfume can give you the impression that your look is complete.
The campaign that Gwyneth Paltrow is currently preparing for Hugo Boss will be publicized through various means of communication. The company will prepare a TV spot, a print and an online ad campaign that will be launched in August 2012.
