Nexus 10 2 will be out this year, at least this is what new reports reveal. Even though rumors have been on for months now indicating that a new device will be out in 2014, it seems that it will only happen later this year. Moreover, the newest reports indicate that the latest Google Nexus will not come with impressive new features.
A report from G for Games reveals that the new Google Nexus 10 2 will actually be manufactured by HTC. Reports revealed that HTC was the winner when it comes to working at this new product, a company which failed to achieve success on the tablet market.
It was also reported that HTC will work for Google at the new Nexus 8, but other reports reveal that Google will actually continue to work with ASUS, which is more likely to happen.
Well, despite the new rumors, it is not clear yet if Google really plans on releasing a new tablet soon. Rumors on the launch of Nexus 10 2 have been on since late 2013, but it looks that Google is not hurrying to make this new release. Still, some rumors indicate that the new tablet will come along with the latest Android version.
So, the latest rumors reveal that the new Google Nexus will be ready for shipping as soon as the third quarter of 2014
Moreover, it is believed that Google has some great plans for this year, as other reports seem to indicate that the company will release the Google Nexus 8 in just 2 months. These latest rumors go on to reveal that the new device will be launched in April. The new Google Nexus 8 is expected to ship in 2 million units.
According to this report, Google has no plans on releasing a 7-inch Nexus this year, so the Nexus 8 will follow the first and second generation Nexus 7.
It is said that Google moved to an 8-inch model to trigger sales, as the company was not satisfied with the results registered by its previous generation models. Moreover, the market is filed with 7-inch tablets, so apparently Google is looking to enter a new tablet market.
