London officials have denied the rumors indicating that George Clooney and his beautiful girlfriend Amal Alamuddin will wed in London. It has been claimed that the ceremony will take place in this city on Friday, but it seems that the rumors were untrue.
So, officials at a London town hall issued a statement to claim that George Clooney’s marriage will not take place there. Rumors on the ceremony surfaced this week, when it has been reported that the actor and his lawyer girlfriend will wed in London, after which they will have an extravagant ceremony in Italy. It has also been claimed that this ceremony will take place later this month.
The rumors made numerous fans gather outside the Chelsea Town Hall on Friday. Fans who wanted to see their favorite actor at his civil ceremony were surely disappointed to discover that the rumors were incorrect and Clooney will not wed now. Actually, this was the reason why the town issued the statement, to determine fans to leave.
“We are NOT conducting the wedding of Mr. Clooney at this office today and a … (crowd) would only cause plausible disruption to other couples getting married on this day,” the message said. It was posted outside the building to urge fans to leave.
Maybe Clooney wedded somewhere else and the star looked for privacy at the event. It will surely not be a huge surprise to later find out that the Hollywood actor had a secret civil wedding in another location in London or any other corner of the world. It is claimed that the star will have his wedding in Venice, Italy, this month, but it is yet to see if these rumors will be confirmed.
George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin got engaged in May and since then the two have been planning their wedding. Clooney impressed his beautiful fiancé with a seven carat diamond engagement ring, which looks absolutely gorgeous. Reports revealed that before getting engaged, the two have been dating for several months. Soon after the engagement, rumors emerged on the union of the couple. It has first been reported that the two will have their civil wedding in London in August.
