After months of hiding the fact that they are a couple [although everybody knew already] George Clooney is finally ready to hold girlfriend Stacy Keibler’s hand publicly. The two have appeared on the Red Carpet on Sunday, at the premiere of “The Descendants”, as a couple.
George Clooney has been romantically linked to former wrestler Stacy Keibler since before his official break-up from Italian beauty Elisabetta Canalis, in late summer. The blame for their split was put on Clooney’s bachelor principles that wouldn’t match Canalis’ desires of being a wife and a mother in the near future. A few weeks after they called it quits, Clooney was reportedly seen in the company of Stacy Keibler. Several sources have confirmed them starting dating and enjoying each other’s company. But until recently, they never showed up officially together at an event.
On Sunday, Clooney and Keibler made their first appearance as a couple. They posed together for a few minutes outside Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, at the premiere of the actor’s latest movie, “The Descendants”. He was wearing a grey suit and she donned a long sheer black dress. He never removed his arm from around her back the whole time they were posing.
At the event, Clooney told Us Weekly that he would never compete in Dancing with the Stars [like Keibler and Canalis did], as he is a “terrible dancer”. He wouldn’t comment about his relationship with Keibler, but when asked about his legendary home near Lake Como, famous for the romantic escapes and skinny dipping, he said: “It’s one of the most beautiful places in the world!”
