Since the divorce of Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani was first revealed, a series of things have been rumored. However, regardless of the rumors, Gavin has remained silent. Well, now the star decided to talk about his children and his career.
Gavin talked in his first interview since the split during the annual Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic Gala. Gavin seemed to still be wearing his wedding ring, although his former wife Gwen Stefani has moved on with Blake Shelton, whom she had been dating for weeks now.
So, during his recent interview Gavin talked about his three children, but refused to talk about his former wife. “The boys interact so well, and they truly love each other,” the star said according to People. Gavin and Gwen have three sons together: Kingston, who is 9, Zuma, who is 7 and Apollo, who is only 20 months old. “They are so sweet and protective of each other, and they have little dance parties. I am always on the lookout to see what they are doing next and how they are working their naughty habits,” he went on to add.
Following the divorce, some rumors indicated that Gavin cheated on the famous singer with the children’s nanny, Mindy Mann. It has been claimed that the affair lasted no less than three years and Gwen found out about it when she discovered some texts containing nude photos of the nanny and the duo’s plans to meet up. The star has not addressed these rumors.
Instead, Gavin talked about his career plans and said that he plans on focusing on a new world tour in 2016. The singer added that regardless of what he will plan on his career, he will adjust everything depending on his children’s schedule, as the kids come first. He also revealed that he planned on scheduling a surprise trip for the boys on Christmas.
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale filed for divorce in August. The divorce has not been finalized yet. Recently, some sources claimed that Gavin wanted his former wife to be happy, while during a recent interview Gwen said that she wished her divorce “didn’t happen.”
