Flexson VinylPlay Turntable, a modern turntable

It seems that many people are going back into playing records, using some new devices like Rega, Pro-Ject and U-Turn. These companies are ready to take on the modern turntable market. However, there is a name missing on the list of turntable companies and that name is Flexson. It looks like the UK-based manufacturer of Sonos accessories has its own turntable, known as the VinylPlay.

This new turntable is available at the price of 499 dollars and comes with some interesting features that set it apart from the rest of the turntable companies. Compared with many other turntables, the new Flexson VinylPlay comes with an integrated phono stage and there is no need for users to buy an external preamplifier in order to connect their standard audio equipment.

Flexson VinylPlay comes with a USB port that is located on the side, which allows users to digitize their old record. However, thanks to the USB port, owners could also listen to their archived music saved on their smartphone.

To be mentioned that this company is not the first manufacturer to come up with this idea. Customers can also find on the market the Audio Technica LP-120, which is available at the price of 250 dollars and has almost the same features, like a built in phono preamp and a USB connectivity. Unfortunately, Audio Techina LP-120 doesn’t come with a modern design. Other companies like Music Hall, Pro-Ject and Teac have similar features but can be bought at the price of 400 dollars.

However, these facts will not change the idea that Flexson VinylPlay is unique in its own way and is a well-built turntable that comes with a great design and performs well. This turntable will certainly please many casual listeners and audiophiles. Probably, at the moment when Flexson will decide to low the price a little, this device will have a big success on the turntable market, due to its futuristic design and great performances.

Flexson VinylPlay turntable combines all the features that people like on a classic turntable, but it also introduces some new features like an USB port and a modern design.
