The first pics of Giuliana and Bill Rancic’s son, Edward Duke, have been published on the cover of Life& Style magazine’s new issue. In addition to explaining how they cope with their new responsibilities, the happy family also shared exclusive details about parenthood.
Giuliana and Bill Rancic have shared every single aspect of their struggle to conceive a baby with the media; yet, there seems to be more. The couple proved everyone how adorable Edward Duke is by agreeing to publish his first pics on the cover of the Life&Style’s new issue. In addition to showing off their adorable baby, Giuliana and Bill spoke about their first days as parents.
While most couples complain about changing diapers and staying up for late-night feedings, Giuliana and Bill are over the moon. They have successfully managed to share their parental tasks among them, so they never get exhausted. Giuliana told reporters that being able to take care of her son gives her many reasons to be happy. When it comes to feeding the baby, Bill usually takes care of the before-bed feeding around 8 p.m., while Giuliana takes the night shift for the 12 a.m. and 4 a.m. meals. However, the schedule is not set in stone, so Bill replaces Giuliana when she is too tired to feed the baby at night.
According to the overjoyed parents, the name of the baby was chosen in honor of their fathers whose name is Edward. The name has greater significance for Bill whose father passed away several years ago. “Duke”, on the other hand, was chosen because it means “leader”. In fact, the reality TV stars will use this name to call their son.
Bill also declared that being a father has completely changed his lifestyle. The 41-year-old star is amazed how his son keeps changing from one day to another. He is glad that Duke inherited his mother’s dimples as this makes him even cuter.
Giuliana has taken a maternity leave in order to take care of the baby, so she won’t take part in her shows until November 13. However, she will be covering the Emmys on September 23 like she did it many times before
