The trailer for the much expected movie Annie has just been released. The movie will star Cameron Diaz and Quvenzhane Wallis.
Annie is directed by Will Gluck and produced by quite an interesting team formed by Jay-Z and Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. Wallis plays the main role in the movie, the one of a poor orphan. Cameron Diaz can be seen in really interesting role, as the star plays the part of the mean foster mom.
Jamie Foxx also has a role in the movie. He plays the part of the wealthy politician who decides to take care of Annie, thinking that this will help his career, making a good impression on the press. Cast also includes Rose Byrne, who plays the role of the politician’s assistant, and Bobby Cannavale, who plays his adviser.
As the movie is a remake of the original Annie, we can see Willis singing and dancing alongside Jaime Foxx and Rose Byrne. The original songs Tomorrow and Hard-Knock Life are part of the soundtrack of the movie, even though they have been modernized, with the help of Jay-Z, who is in charge with the music performance.
Annie will be out on December 26. The trailer for the new movie is already available. It lasts 2 minutes and 27 seconds and it shows that the film will be an emotional, but fun story. The storyline is similar to the one of the original Annie.

Fortunately for Annie, she is taken in by a wealthy politician and businessman, who turns out caring for the young girl. As he bonds with Annie, he stars seeing her like a daughter. Naturally, the man will finally decide to adopt Annie, who will become his daughter.
Even though the story is a remake of Annie, it is an original and modern movie. You may even see some references to Facebook in the new Annie. The action is set in the contemporary New York City. All these aspects make the story both interesting and a lot of fun.
The original musical Annie first premiered on Broadway in 1977. A movie based on the musical was released in 1982.
