Facebook Introduces the Say Thanks Service

Facebook plans on introducing a new service and maybe fans will be happy with the usability that the social network plans on bringing. So, Facebook officially announced on Wednesday that they will be introducing the Say Thanks service. This will be a new service that will actually allow users to say to whomever they want “Thank you for being a friend.”

The new service allows users to create personalized video cards, which enable them to share to their Facebook friends the messages they want. This is a video tool that Facebook released and is available in English, French, Spanish, German and Italian, among many other languages.

Users will see the Say Thanks link on both mobile devices and desktops. The social network claims that this is a new step in making connection better, as it actually allows users to express their gratitude towards friends. At least from once in a while, sharing beautiful words with friends is very nice.

“Today we’re excited to announce Say Thanks, an experience that lets you create personalized video cards for your friends on Facebook. Share a Say Thanks video with a close friend, your significant other, a relative, a coworker, an old friend – or anyone else in your life who you’d like to celebrate. There is no limit to how many personalized videos you can create and share,” Facebook said in an official statement.

The video is a 45-second one and can feature the photos and the theme that users want. There are four themes users can choose from and they are old friends, friends, complicated or family. They can edit the photos and the posts that appear in the video.

After the video is done, users have the possibility to share it on their Facebook profile. However, if you want just the person for whom you made the video to see it, you have nothing to worry about. Facebook offers users the possibility to choose who can see the video. You may also share on the friend’s timeline.

The social network claimed that this is just a new way of celebrating friendship. After all, Facebook aims to connect friends from all over the world.
