“The Bachelorette” star Emily Maynard has big career plans. Reliable sources told Us Weekly that the former host of an Internet race car show wants to have her own TV gig.
Emily Maynard has grown to be a real diva, if we were to judge her according to the declarations of her close friends. The reality TV star has always wanted to have her own television show and she is willing to do whatever it takes to fulfill her plans.
The single mother is not the only “Bachelorette” participant who wants to become a TV show host. Her predecessor, Ali Fedotowsky has become the host of NBC’s show “First Look” soon after she took part in “The Bachelorette”. Melissa Rycroft, the participant who stood out during her appearance at the “Bachelor” was contacted to be a part of a new CMT reality TV show. No wonder Maynard insists on getting a television gig, given the examples she has had so far.
Sources have confirmed that “The Bachelorette” is nothing but a “stepping stone” in Emily’s future career plans. She told everyone she has met that she wants to become famous. In fact, she has made a few changes to her body, as well, because she wanted to make sure that she has all it takes to make it in this industry.
Insiders further added that Maynard who is now a single mother of a 6-year-old daughter has underwent multiple plastic surgeries before she appeared on 2010’s “The Bachelor”. The southern beauty has had breast implants, veneers and a nose job, but the rumors haven’t been confirmed until now.
Emily Maynard was romantically involved with Brad Womack, but they split in June 2011. Soon after their separation, the star radically changed her attitude demanding a bigger paycheck for her appearance in “The Bachelorette”. She initially requested $750,000 and producers immediately rejected her demands. In the end, she settled for a smaller sum of approximately $150,000.
