Italian beauty Elisabetta Canalis talks to Chi magazine about her relationship with George Clooney, about the life after the break-up and about what she has learned from this relationship.
The latest project of the Italian diva is “Dancing with the Stars”. Elisabetta Canalis has moved to Los Angeles and says that she found serenity in Hollywood. After the split from the most wanted bachelor, she says that she got harassed by the mass media in Italy; so, she wanted to get away from all that.
Stating that ending a relationship is always complicated, Canalis, 29, says: “Watching my life being dissected was not easy for me”. So she decided to move to the United States. “I could no longer face the world,” she added. In Hollywood she found work and she managed to start over.
When talking about the aftermath of her romance with Clooney, 50, the Italian model believes that the Prince Charming idea is not in the women’s favor. “You have to accept that Prince Charming who is coming to save you is not going to happen — it works against you”, she told Chi. She never referred directly to her relationship with Clooney, but rather talked in general about her way of being with men and what she expected from relationships.
