Sources have confirmed that actress Drew Barrymore said “I Do” to Will Kopelman during a private ceremony which was held on Saturday at her estate in Montecito, California. Only the members of the families and several close friends were invited to take part at the ceremony because the couple didn’t want the wedding to be extravagant.
Drew Barrymore couldn’t’ be happier. The actress is living a beautiful love story with Will Kopelman who is the father of her first child. The two decided to take their relationship a step further, so they tied the knot on Saturday. The wedding ceremony was not as high-flown as other celebrities have accustomed us; on the contrary, the couple invited their guests at the actress’ house. The floral arrangements were provided by the company Gazebo Flowers and included hydrangeas, small irises, cream and pink roses, as well as lavender lilies.
The ceremony was attended by some of Drew’s close friends, including Cameron Diaz, pregnant Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth, as well as Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy Juvonen. Kopelman’s rabbi hosted the Jewish ceremony and the two wore custom-made chuppah throughout the whole time. Barrymore was dressed with a Chanel gown which might have been provided by Will’s father, Arie Kopelman because he is the former CEO of Chanel.
The 39-year-old actress who is expecting her first child needed help with the final fitting of the dress. She resorted to her friend, Cameron Diaz; in fact, the two have been very close ever since they filmed “Charlie’s Angels”. Sources claim that the two actresses rely on each other all the time, especially now since Drew is pregnant.
This is the third marriage for Drew Barrymore and friends hope is going to last longer than the previous two. The actress first married Jeremy Thomas in March 1994 and they divorced one month later. She later on, tied the knot with comic Tom Green in July 2001, but her ex filed for divorce in December.
Kopelman and Barrymore dated for a while in 2010. Their relationship became serious only in 2011 when the art consultant proposed to her. Drew is very happy to be a part of Kopelman’s family because she thinks they are all extraordinary people.
