Denise Richards, actress and former wife of Charlie Sheen, shows off her 5-weeks-old little girl. The recently adopted baby daughter joins the family of three: mother Denise, 40, and sisters Sam, 7, and Lola, 6.
An adorable little girl with brown eyes and dark brown hair sits carelessly in the arms of the actress Denise Richards, in the photos published in the latest issue of the Us Weekly. “She’s brought so much joy, and I love her to pieces”, Denise confesses in the interview to the magazine. “She is a cuddle bug. She loves being hugged and held. She’s such a beautiful little baby and little soul.”
Richards tells the story of the adoption in the issue coming out on Wednesday. She explains that just because she was famous, things weren’t easier for her. Some people think if a celebrity wants a baby, they get one the next day. “There were times I felt discouraged, times when I got close to adopting a baby and it fell through,” she says. “But I knew the right baby would find us.” The baby daughter she has adopted has been near Denise since the day she was born, but, as she explains, the process of adoption was far from being closed. It actually took two years to get to adopt Eloise.
Denise says that even her ex husband, Charlie Sheen, has spent time with the baby. The former couple is now officially in good terms, as she says “we’re talking every day”, and Charlie is “very supportive” with her regarding the adoption. “He knows how much I love, love kids” she told the magazine, and “he knows I always wanted more kids”.
The interview for Us Weekly also includes news about Joni’s planned baby shower and how Denise told her girls that they are going to have a sister. Sam and Lola are the daughters of Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen.
