The Wild Things star is a mom, again. If you haven’t read or seen or heard of her baby bump it’s because it never existed. Denise Richards recently adopted a baby girl, according to her representative, Us Magazine reports.
Actress Denise Richards’s new baby girl is named Eloise Joni. The ex wife of Two And A Half Men former star Charlie Sheen named her daughter after her mother, who passed away of cancer in 2007. Her representative confirms to Us Weekly that indeed the adoption took place and that both Denise and her natural daughters are happy about the ne addition to the family. “Denise and Eloise’s big sisters couldn’t be happier and feel incredibly blessed” the representative confirmed to Us Weekly.
The actress doesn’t follow the trend of other celebrities who adopt children outside the US ( see Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock, etc.). Her girl was adopted domestically.
Denise Richards, 40, has two daughters from her previous marriage to Charlie Sheen: Sam J., who is 7 years old, and Lola Rose, who is 5.
The former model and “It’s complicated” reality show star married actor Charlie Sheen in 2002. Three years later, just a few months after their first daughter was born and while Denise was pregnant with their second child, the couple filed for a divorce. But the egal action stopped as they decided to give the marriage another shot. However in January 2006, Denise’s representative stated she was continuing with the divorce.
In April the actress filed the legal formal papers and asked for a restraining order from the judge, motivating that Charlie was a threat to her life. They also fought in court about her involving the two daughters in her reality show “It’s Complicated”. After the wars in court and on TV, the two have reached an agreement regarding the custody of their daughters in April 2009.Since then, Sheen has been a father once again to her latest ex wife Brook’s twins.
