After a Thanksgiving weekend spent behind closed doors, Demi Moore resurfaced and was spotted having dinner in the company of a mystery man.
Not two weeks after announcing her upcoming divorce with husband Ashton Kutcher, Moore decided to skip an important event in her daughter’s life in favor of a dinner out with a man. The actress didn’t show up for Tallulah’s debutant ball which took place on Saturday in Paris. The rest of the family however was present for the event. Demi’s ex-husband and father of Tallulah, Bruce Willis flew in for the big evening as well as her siblings Rumer and Scout.
Meanwhile, Demi was home in Los Angeles dinning with a man at the Sunset Tower celebrity restaurant. A source for Us Weekly described the event as a platonic dinner between two friends. They recognized the man as being florist Eric Butterbaugh who is allegedly one of Moore’s best friends.
Butterbaugh was indeed present on a camping trip alongside Moore and Kutcher during October. The trip was followed shortly by the shocking rumors concerning Ashton’s affair with the 33 year old Sara Leal.
The same source told Us Weekly that during the dinner with Butterbaugh, Demi seemed to be having a nice time in the company of a good friend. It was nothing more than a pleasant night out spent in a good mood and spiced up by laughter.
New York Post Page Six was the first to spot the actress on a night out. Their source described the event as “”Demi looked good, and like she was ready to be seen out. She was in deep conversation with her male companion”.
Demi filed for divorce after a six years marriage to Ashton Kutcher. The decision seems final. The couple was strained to the limit when rumors concerning a possible extramarital love affair on Kutcher side held tabloids first page days in a row. In a statement for EW, Demi asked the media for compassion and privacy when faced with this trying time for her and her family.
