Demi Lovato finally talked about her decision to unfollow BFF Selena Gomez. A few weeks ago it had been revealed that the popular singer made the choice to unfollow her famous friend, rumors indicating that this decision has actually been linked to the troubled relationship of Selena with Justin Bieber.
Demi claimed that “people grow apart” and this is the reason why she unfollowed Selena on Twitter. The actress and singer made these revelations during her appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live Thursday. The star was invited at the show alongside Jessica Alba.
“You recently unfollowed your BFF Selena Gomez on Twitter. So much speculation about this! Can you tell us why?” the host of the show told Demi Lovato. The singer tried to come up with an answer. “Um, I plead the sixth, if that’s in the game,” the popular star said.
“I think it’s just one of those things where people change and people grow apart,” she added.
It has been well-known that Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato were very good friends. However, it seems that something happened between the two stars, which made their friendship end. Demi Lovato claimed to be a very honest person, so maybe their careers and different lives were the ones to blame for the end of this beautiful friendship.
Still, when it was first revealed that Demi Lovato has chosen to unfollow her friend, it has been said that the star took this decision as she did not want to see Selena suffering any longer. Selena Gomez has become well known for her troubled relationship with Justin Bieber. Apparently, Demi is not a Bieber fan, thing which she made very clear in this interview, too.
When being asked whom she would prefer from a list of famous stars, list which also included Justin Bieber, Selena made very clear what she feels. The star said that she would actually kill Bieber. Well, if the friendship between Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato ended, the relationship of the famous singer with Justin Bieber might not be over. New rumors indicate that the two stars are actually going to get back together.
