Us Weekly reports that actors, Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman have declared in a recent interview that they are working on their reconciliation. The couple of nearly 30 years decided to part ways in October 2012 without disclosing any information in relation to their separation.
Danny DeVito was photographed this week at an important event in Hollywood. Reporters asked the comedian whether there were any chances for him and his wife to get back together after all these years. Much to everyone’s surprise, the 67-year-old actor smiled and reassured journalists that the former couple is working on a reconciliation.
At the time when the divorce papers were filed, Danny and Rhea looked very determined to put an end to their marriage of 30 years. Their opinion seems to have suffered a radical change since then as DeVito stated during the red carpet interview that he and Rhea have remained close friends. In fact, they have spent most of their time together even though they signed the divorce papers in October. “We’re still together, just separated,” the actor concluded.
DeVito didn’t seem to be so close to his wife at the time when his divorce was announced two months ago. Sources have even suggested that the comedian might be going through a midlife crisis due to his strange behavior. He declared back then that he finally felt free enough to compete against the most desired bachelors in Hollywood and made plans to buy an expensive convertible car.
Luckily, Danny seems to have come to his senses and is ready to make efforts to bring his wife back. The two have a long history together as they were married in 1982 and had three children, Lucy, 29, Grace, 27, and Jacob, 25. They also set up the company Jersey Films in 1992 which saw the production of movies like “Pulp Fiction” and “Erin Brockovich”.
