James Bond actor Daniel Craig, calls the Kardashians “idiots” in a recent interview for GQ magazine. Craig talks coldly about the family franchise TV reality show.
The actor’s opinion on the family is gloomy. Even though they started out their careers on the right foot and are now collectively worth millions, The Kardashians get their money mainly from behaving “like f***ing idiots on television”, he claims.
He didn’t mean to judge them, he said at the beginning of his interview, but allegedly he couldn’t help himself. His statement concerning the family is part of his ongoing crusade against celebrities who choose to share their life with everybody than complain for lack of privacy.
The star of “The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo”, which opens on December 21, doesn’t plead against showing emotion in public or expressing your true nature but considers all privacy is lost once u start selling off these emotions. Once sold a person loses all claim over their content and is unable to reposes them.
The actor told British GQ that once you film and share with the public the most intimate moments of your life it becomes virtually impossible to raise privacy claims afterwards. “We’ve been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta and now you want some privacy?”, he added regarding the Kardashians.
This view on the matter determined Craig and his wife Rachel Weisz to keep their recent marriage away from the public eye. The ceremony took place at the beginning of 2011 in a location that was kept secret. Furthermore, Daniel refused to go into a lot of details concerning his life as a husband. He did, however, mention he was happily in love but refrained from adding anything to this for fear in time statements made now can be turned against him.
