Chynna Phillips leaves Dancing with the Stars
Chynna Phillips and her partner, Tony Dovolani, are the fourth couple to leave the Dancing with the Stars competition on Monday evening. They admitted they “messed up” last evening when performing a tango so poorly on the “Mission: Impossible” soundtrack.
"I'm disappointed. I'm sad, but I have to take responsibility,” said Chynna after learning she was to go home and kiss Dancing with the Stars goodbye. The elimination was not a surprise, because the performance was clearly bad, as she forgot her steps. Her mind went blank and she only made it through the end with subtle cues from her professional partner, Tony.
It was quite unexpected that Chynna would do so badly this week after being among the frontrunners every week since the beginning of the new season. Along with Chynna and Tony, two other couples have learned their faith only at the end of the competition: Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke and Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus.
Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer were saved from elimination earlier in the show. Cher, Chaz’s mother tweeted a cheer with capital letters: “YEAH ! CHAZ GETS 2 DANCE ANOTHER WK! THANK U”, she wrote right after the show ended. “DOES THIS MEAN IM ABOUT 2B CAST MEMBER OF DWTS? I might HAVE 1 MORE CAMEO UP MY SLEEVE”, Cher added.
Don’t’ miss the next competition. The fifth Dancing with the Stars elimination will take place next Monday, at 8/7 C on ABC.
