Christina Aguilera might have had a lot of fun at the Christmas party that was hosted by Seth MacFarlane in Beverly Hills. So, Seth held his annual Christmas party on Sunday. Christina was one of the comedian’s guests at the event. However, it has been reported that Christina might have consumed more alcohol than she should have.
So, Page Six reported that the popular singer actually was so drunk that she almost fell into the Christmas tree. Reportedly, the star acted like a “boozy Grinch.” The report went on to add that the singer was so drunk that she was actually unable to get up on the stage, although Seth had asked her to. So, Seth, alongside other guests, including Meghan Trainor, Bill Maher and Katherine McPhee, were performing on the stage and wanted Christina to join them.
“Seth asked her five times to come up [and sing] and she refused,” an insider told the site. “She was a mess. The reason she didn’t get up is because she was wasted,” it went on to add. The source claimed that Christina was accompanied at the event by her life partner, Matt Rutler. Apparently, the two were enjoying a great time at the party, being seen cozying up on a coach.
However, things stopped being so much fun for the pair when Christina got very drunk. “[Aguilera’s] man [Matt Rutler] and her girlfriend had to hold her on each arm walking out. She was wearing 6-inch custom Louboutins. She was literally wobbling [and] she nearly fell into a Christmas tree,” the source explained.
As imagined, Christina has not commented on the rumors, so it is yet to see if the claims are really true and the star has gotten as drunk as reported at the private event. However, Christina Aguilera was not the only star who attended the blast. Among the celebrities invited at the event were John Stamos, Courtney Love, but also Zac Efron, Marilyn Manson and Ted Danson.
When it comes to Christina Aguilera’s previous issues with alcohol, the star was arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of being drunk in public, back in 2011. However, she was never prosecuted.
