Christina Aguilera is a proud mom. The talented singer showed off her beautiful baby daughter for a photo shoot for People Magazine. The pics show just how cute the 6 months old girl is. In fact, her blue eyes are breathtaking and Christina couldn’t be more proud.
Christina recalled what she felt when she gave birth to her baby. “I was speechless,” the singer said. “She was literally like an angel…We had an immediate calm bond, and I felt unexplainably connected to her and her spirit.” She went on to reveal how adorable her baby is.
“Her smile lights up a room and I know it melts mama and daddy’s hearts,” Christina said when talking about her baby girl. “She laughs a ton and is easy to make smile. She just wants to be where the action is!” Baby Summer is the first child for Christina and her fiance Mattew Rutler. However, the star is also mom to son Max, from her previous marriage to Jordan Bratman.
When talking to People, Christina also claimed that being a full time parent and working at the same time is very difficult. However, she is trying to balance as well as possible the two. “It’s definitely not easy juggling work and motherhood, as being a parent is a full-time job within itself,” the singer said.
“You just have to make it work for you. My life has so many different moving parts, but my kids are the center focal piece, and everything else shifts around them,” she went on to add. Christina also explained that she wants the best for children and she is trying to do what is best for them. “It’s hard to know you won’t have all the right answers at the right times. And ‘mom guilt’ is the worst thing ever,” she said. “But you have to surrender and let go, knowing you’re doing your very best and no one loves them, or wants what’s best for them more than you,” the star concluded.
Well, Christina will be quite busy in the following period. The star plans on continuing her career with a series of new projects. Besides reprising her role as a judge on The Voice, she will also be working at the release of a new album.
