Chris Brown just made some comments about Ebola, which managed to draw a lot of criticism. The famous singer claimed that Ebola actually is a “form of population control.”
The singer took Twitter to make these comments around 3 a.m. on October 13. Brown has no less than 13.7 million followers on the social networking site. The star claimed that the Ebola crisis which threatens the United States and the whole world might only be a population control conspiracy.
“I don’t know … But I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control,” the Twitter post said. “Sh*t is getting crazy bruh,” Chris Brown added. Naturally, the singer’s followers who saw the post were not very happy with the comments that Brown made. They called the singer idiot and stupid and they said that he should “go to bed.”
As expected, Brown realized that he made a mistake with these comments and shared another Twitter post. “Let me shut my black ass up!” the famous singer claimed. However, the star has not deleted the posts, at least not yet. Still, it is expected for Brown to not make further comments on this disease.
Ebola is a high contagious disorder which has killed thousands of people. The World Health Organization revealed that the Ebola virus has actually killed more than 4,000 people, most of them living in Liberia. Two people have been diagnosed with Ebola in the United States. Unfortunately, one of the patients died from the disease. The second case of Ebola in the US has been diagnosed in a nurse. The most concerning thing about this case is that the nurse had been wearing protective gear, but she still developed the disease.
This news has made health care workers in the US worry about the prospect of being diagnosed with Ebola, too. Airports across the country have started screening passengers from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, where Ebola is currently commonly diagnosed. Hopefully, the disease will not become a threat in the US or in other countries which have not been at risk until now.
