Chris Brown unfortunately had to cancel one of his performance. In fact, the singer had to cancer a series of shows in Montreal and Toronto, as the star was denied entry in Canada. As imagined, the star was not happy at all with the events. Brown took to Twitter to share his disappointment.
The “good people of the Canadian government wouldn’t allow me entry. I’ll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!” his message said. It seems that the ban to enter Canada actually came in relation with the previous sentence of the star. Brown spent no less than three months in jail last year, for violating his probation.
Naturally, the famous singer was on probation for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna, back in 2009. He first violated his probation when he got into a fight outside a hotel in Washington. Then, Brown violated his probation when he left the city, without the court’s permission. In fact, during his performance in San Jose, five people were shot.
A hearing in Chris Brown’s case is scheduled for next month, when the star will find out if he will once again go to jail.
Well, a rep for the artist announced all fans the reason why the concerts had to be canceled and claimed that everyone will get a full refund at the point of purchase. Brown may not have been that shocked to find out that his entry in Canada was rejected by authorities. He has actually been in a similar situation back in 2010. Then, the star had to cancel four of his show, when his entry in the United Kingdom was denied due to his criminal record.
Well, recently Brown has seemed to temper his behavior, although the singer’s legal issues are far from ending. In fact, since the assault on Rihanna, Brown’s trouble seemed to never end. The singer previously admitted that he suffered from serious anger issues. Hopefully, Brown will be able to overcome all his issue and once again focus on a successful musical career.
