The eccentric, but loveable, Charlie Sheen has taken some time off the TV screen, but that forced holiday is about to end. According to his own statement he’s not crazy anymore, so, World prepare for Charlie Sheen’s comeback.
Reports at the Sunday night’s Fox Television Critics Association party in Pasadena California had a nice surprise when Charlie Sheen announced he will be back on our TV screens in no time. Fresh, happy and with a lot of Zen, the 46 year old actor told reporters he’s “crazy anymore. That was an episode”.
“I think I’m a different person than I was yesterday. Everything is a lot more mellow and focused and much more rooted in reality” the star said. Thank God, the good old days Charlie is back, but without all the craziness.
Charlie Sheen is preparing his own FX show, called “Anger Management”, which he will star and produce. He also added that casting is underway and the first ten episodes will be shooting in six weeks. However, as the star stated, naming other actors who might guest star on his new series is “premature”, but seemingly “everybody” wants a part of it.
Is there, really, any other show that would fit this actor better? Even Charlie agrees with that: “I’ve been at this 30 years. It’s nice to be in a situation where the people I’m working with are excited about my input. That wasn’t the case for a long time”.
Reporters did not miss the chance to agitate spirits a little bit and have asked Charlie about his relationship with the cast on “Two And A Half Men”. The actor said that he has been in contact with his former co-star Jon Cryer, but he can’t say the same thing about producer Chuck Lorre “Jon and I text. Chuck, no, but at some point we are going to have to get some closure there”.
Obviously, all the media is expecting the closure, as Charlie’s firing from the “Two And A Half Men” was surely not that polite. If you recall, Charlie died at the end of season 8. He said: “It was a little bizarre to watch your own funeral. It was a little mean-spirited. But it’s dead and buried now, right?”
All we can say is that we like the new Charlie!
