Since British singer Amy Winehouse passed away On Saturday, a huge number of actors and fellow musicians felt the need to share with their fans, Amy’s fans and basically the whole world, their personal opinions about the singer and how they knew her. Ladies and gentlemen, the real Amy Winehouse!
Famous British singer Adele, 23, wrote on her blog about the uniqueness and the modesty of the jazz diva: “Not many people have it in them to do something they love, simply because they love it, with no fuss and no compromise,” she said. “I don’t think she ever realized just how brilliant she was and how important she is, but that just makes her even more charming”.
Blake Fielder-Civil, 29, the ex husband of Amy, who is now incarcerated, told his current girlfriend that Winehouse was the love of his life: “I will never ever again feel the love I felt for her” he said. “Everybody who knew me and knew Amy knew the depth of our love. I can’t believe she’s dead.” His girlfriend, Sarah Aspin, shared his declaration to The Sun. She also said that when the prison authorities broke the news to him, “I just couldn’t console him. He was in total shock.”
Hip-hop artist Usher, 32, expressed his content of having had the opportunity to meet her. He tweeted: “I’m so sad to hear the horrible news of Amy Winehouse’s death. I’m so happy I knew you Amy. Rest well. Gone too soon. We’ll miss you!
Among the other stars expressing their sad feelings and their compassion for the family and all her loved ones that remained behind, there were Lily Allen, Rihanna, Demi Lovato, Demi Moore, Billy Corgan, Josh Groban, Drew Lachey, Jessica Alba, Ricky Minaj, Sophia Bush, Ricky Martin, Joel Madden, Kim Kardashian and many others.
Amy Winehouse died at 27 years old, at her home in London. She was found dead by the Ambulance personnel and the police. The official death report does not state the cause of death yet, but it is suspected that she died of an overdose.
