Judge Throws Out Lutfi’s Lawsuit Against Britney Spears And Her Parents

For the past few weeks, Sam Lutfi brought Britney Spears back into the headlines with stuff from her meltdown, a few years ago. On Thursday, a judge decided to throw out Lutfi’s defamation lawsuit against Britney Spears and her parents.

Sam Lutfi has sued Britney Spears and her parents with a variety of claims, including libel and defamation. The libel suit against the Spears family was full of controversial claims, but as expected Lutfi had no evidence to keep the lawsuit going. So, Thursday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Suzanne Bruguera decided to throw out Sam Lutfi’s case in lack of evidence that could support his charges.

“I really thought long and hard” said Judge Suzanne Bruguera as she introduced her ruling in the Britney Spears libel case. “It’s a difficult decision but it needs to be made” the judge added about dismissing Lutfi’s case. “That’s the right thing to do, and that’s what we are doing” Judge Bruguera explained.

It was a ruling that everybody saw it coming. Even the judge herself reminded Lutfi’s lawyer they need to have evidence to support the claims for the trial to keep going. “Everything you say, you have to be able to back it up. You can’t waste time on statements just thrown in the air. Everything has to have evidence” Judge Suzanne Bruguera told Sam Lutfi and his lawyer during the opening statements.

Sam Lutfi revealed a lot of details of Britney Spears’ meltdown, which he claims her parents made him take the blame for. He told the jury and the judge that the singer used to take amphetamines, which are most likely why she had the meltdown in the first place.

The failed relationship with Justin Timberlake might have been the onset of Britney Spears’ troubles. “It was a big relationship and it ended painfully. Her parents noticed a big change. There was a long period of many ups and downs but mostly a downward direction” Leon Gladstone told the jury in the opening statement.

“There is literally no evidence of her state of mind, her subjective belief that she was publishing something false, or that she published it in reckless disregard of the truth” said Steve Rohde, the lawyer who represented Britney Spears’ mom in the defamation case.

Carly Rae Jepsen Gets Sued

Hollywood Reporter informs that singer Carly Rae Jepsen got sued by an Alabama songwriter over the motif of the song “Good Times”. Allyson Nichole Burnett claims Jepsen and Owl City’s Adam Young used her song “Ah, It’s a Love Song” as an inspiration for their pop hit.

A songwriter from Alabama, Allyson Nichole Burnett, filed a copyright infringement lawsuit in a California federal court against Carly Rae Jepsen, Owl City’s Adam Young and other publishing companies. Based on the declarations made in the papers, Burnett accuses the named stars of illicitly using the motif of her song “Ah, It’s a Love Song” for the creation of their recent hit “Good Times”.

“Good Times” was released last June and has immediately become a successful single. It went straight to number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was often played during NBC’s broadcast of the Summer Olympics this year. Moreover, the motif became largely known after being included in shows like “90210”, “Parks and Recreation”, “The Office”, as well as the trailer of Adam Sandler’s movie “Hotel Transylvania”.

Since Carly’s song was heard more often than Allyson’s hit, the latter was often accused of copying Jepsen’s tune. The Alabama songwriter asks compensation claiming she was “significantly damaged by such incorrect assumptions”. According to the Southern artist, this copyright infringement case is more important than other similar episodes because her song contains a “unique vocal motif” and a catchy tune that “sticks in people’s heads”. Allyson can easily prove that she is the real creator of the 2010 hit because the track was included in her album “The Takeover” and was licensed to many MTV shows, such as, “Friendzone” and “The Hills”.

Carly Rae Jepsen, Adam Young, Matt Thiessen and Brian Lee are not the only artists who have been hit with the lawsuit. Universal Music Group, Songs Music Publishing and Schoolboy Records have also been accused of copyright infringement.

Miley Cyrus Casts Porn Star For “Decisions” Video

Oh, what ever happened to innocent Disney star Miley Cyrus? Today’s Miley Cyrus is rebellious and loves to takes risks. TMZ writes that Miley Cyrus casted a porn star for “Decisions” music video, featuring Israeli DJ Borgore.

You should break it to your kids: Hannah Montana is gone. But truth be told, we like the new Miley Cyrus more than Disney’s version. She is young and untamed and seems like she’s just discovering her thing. Miley Cyrus’s track “Decisions” featuring Israeli DJ Borgore is a surprising change of pace and style, but there’s another surprise than dubstep to it. The music video casts a porn star.

The music video for Miley Cyrus’s “Decisions” music video is expected sometime this week. From what Miley Cyrus herself told the Rolling Stone in September, the music video is going to be some “crazy” “shit”. It features Liam Hernsworth as a unicorn, Miley Cyrus stripping and jumping out of a wedding cake and even a porn star, Jessie Andrews, Borgore’s former girlfriend.

“That sh*t was crazy” Miley Cyrus told Rolling Stone about her new music video. Her fiance “walked into his hotel room, and it was people in the weirdest clothes you’ve ever seen” Miley Cyrus reveals. “My fiance was dressed as a unicorn – we make out in the video, which is very funny. It’s just the most random group. We walk in and we’re like. ‘This feels like a party’, so it’s dope” the 19-year-old singer added.

Now, TMZ reports that porn star Jessie Andrews will show in Miley Cyrus’s new video. “Sources close to production tell TMZ, the song’s about 20-year-old porn star Jessie Andrews …so Miley and Borgore asked Jessie to star in it”.

TMZ also reports that the new music video was shot in Hollywood at Beacher’s Madhouse. The site also published a photo of Jessie Andrews she took of herself in the night “Decisions” msuic video was shot.

If you haven’t listened to the new Miley Cyrus and Borgore collaboration, expect to have a surprise. It’s about a porn star and a recurrent Borgore theme about “b*tches [who] love cake”. So it’s not the most “innocent” song of Miley’s and certainly not the last.

Rihanna Releases $250 “Diamonds” Album

On December 11, Rihanna will release a $250 “Diamonds” album, a special edition of the album and a lot of gifts.

In two weeks, Rihanna will release her new album, “Unapologetic”. It is the singer’s seventh album in just as many years. The first single from the new album, “Diamonds” is currently at the top of Billboard, ranking at number 8 in Hot 100. Two other versions of the album will be released November 19th and December 11th, all wrapped for a great holiday gift.

If you’re already thinking about holiday gifts, Rihanna’s special edition album should work just fine for her fans. And it’s quite an expensive gift: $250! Even if it’s a price that makes you think it’d better be diamonds inside, Rihanna’s $250 “Diamonds Executive Platinum Box” features quite a lot for that cost.

MTV News writes that the $250 album edition features collectible “Diamonds” vinyl remixes, a personal note from Rihanna, a 2GB USB flash drive in the shape of a credit card, a T-shirt of Rihanna from the “Unapologetic” album shoots, lithographs of Michael Muller’s photos as well as exclusive photos from the “Unapologetic” shooting session.

The box will also contain an illustration Magnus Voll Mathiassen, three album cover art stickers for smartphones, seven stickers of Mario Hugo’s art for laptops, a custom-made View Waster of Rihanna’s style evolution. And there’s more…. The $250 special edition features a 40-page notebook with lyrics and notes, a 28-photo and art booklet, 20 minutes of unrealeased images, a poster and even a video taken during the Loud Tour.

If $250 is too much for your pockets, you can always choose the $79 “Diamonds” album, which will be released on November 19. It obviously features a lot less than the $250 box, but it still makes a great gift for her fans. For $79 you get the Rihanna t-shirt, the 20-minutes video and Loud Tour performance, the laptop stickers, fan poster and the deluxe album.

The 79$ Rihanna album also comes with a “limited edition genuine, conflict-free diamond bracelet”. It features a band made from black leather, a 1pt diamond on a brass disc and a signature logo.

Calvin Harris Turned Down Gaga

She might have millions of followers on Twitter, but not the same can be said of fellow musicians who are turning down Lady Gaga collaborations. First Die Antwoord, now Calvin Harris have refused Lady Gaga, mainly, because of her music.

Earlier this month, Lady Gaga and rave rap duo Die Antwoord were in a spat over a refused collaboration and controversial video. The South African band refused Lady Gaga’s request to open for her in a concert and then released video Fatty Boom Boom that has pokes fun at the Monster Queen. Now, Calvin Harris reveals he turned down Lady Gaga too because he was too busy and didn’t like her songs.

It looks like the Lady Gaga iconic celebrity is breaking down. It’s hard to imagine there are people out there who’d turn down such a chance to shine. But thank God they are. Lady Gaga is good at what she does, but it’s not something we’d like to see other artists doing. Anyway, Scottish DJ, singer, songwriter and producer Calvin Harris recently announced the refused to collaborate with Lady Gaga.

Calvin Harris was on BBC Breakfast to talk about his new record called “18 Months” which is basically a sum up of his “favourite singers and producers”. During the show, the Scottish DJ revealed he turned down Lady Gaga, but it was before she became famous, in 2008. According to Calvin Harris, he was just too busy at that time to handle a new project and on the other hand he didn’t really like the album cuts he received from Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga took the whole spat to Twitter and turned it into a thing. She denies ever sending Calvin Harris samples of her songs or that she had ever asked him for a collaboration. “Seems to be trendy lately to talk sh*t about “lady gaga” when your albums/singles drop. Y’all should live off your own hustle. #Ido” the Monster Queen reacted just days after the whole Die Antwoord controversial video hit the online world.

“Never even emailed you @calvinharris I guess it’s hard to believe I write + produce my music. Cuz I’m a woman I don’t know about EDM right?” the Monster Queen tweeted. Calvin Harris reacted to Lady Gaga’s comments a lot more decent: “@ladygaga no your label emailed me. I always make sure I say Im a fan when asked about it, I apologise if I offended u, wasn’t the intention”.

Lil Wayne Scolded By Judge For Unreasonable Behavior

The Inquisitr reports that Lil Wayne was scolded by a judge after displaying an unreasonable and child-like behavior in his deposition tape. The video was made to announce that the rapper will not be present in court as a result of the health problems he experienced last week.

After being hospitalized for two seizure-attacks last week, rapper Lil Wayne created a deposition tape claiming that he won’t be able to show up in court because of his latest medical emergencies. Judges, however, were disturbed by Lil Wayne’s taped declaration and they scolded him for childish behavior.

The judge told the press that he was not impressed by the rapper’s tape; on the contrary, it gave him the impression that Wayne was mocking the court. It is up to the jury to decide whether Lil Wayne should win the case or not, but the judge thinks nobody will like the rapper’s declaration. According to TMZ, Weezy refused to answer the majority of the questions he was asked. Moreover, he showed little interest in collaborating with the members of the court because his answers were very brief.

The scold comes after a difficult week during which the rapper was hospitalized for suffering two seizures in 24 hours. The second health problem occurred while Lil was on a private jet, so the plane was forced to land in Minnesota to take the New Orleans born singer to the closest hospital.

Critics have stated that the second seizure was not real and that the rap artist claimed he was hospitalized to avoid a deposition in court. Their claims were not sustained by sound arguments; in fact, the documents provided by Lil’s doctors prove that the rapper was hospitalized on Friday and released a few hours later.

Eminem Teases New Album With a Cap

We love smart marketing stunts and Eminem has one that went viral. Eminem is teasing his 2013 album with a baseball cap.

Some six years ago or even more Eminem was one of the most popular names in rap, worldwide. But lately, Marshall Mathers kept away from the public eye. His last album, Recovery, was launched two years ago and managed to sell 10 million copies. The cap is a confirmation that Eminem’s new album is set to hit the stores in 2013.

Although it looks like a commemorative baseball cap, as the “E” logo is very similar to the Tigers’ “D”, both in design and in color, it’s the side of the Eminem cap that reveals the intrigue. On the side of the cap launched in Eminem’s web store over the weekend there is a list headlined “World Champion”.

Since it resembles the Tigers’ “D” logo you could easily mistaken the “E” cap as one honoring the team. But under the “World Champion” there’s a list of years that coincide the years the rapper has released a solo album.

Eminem’s website reads that the “Side panel [on the cap] is dedicated to the landmark Eminem solo albums”. The 2013 Eminem album would the rapper’s eighth one. From 1996’s debut album “Infinite”, to 2010’s “Recovery” the cap goes back in history.

1999 was the year Eminem released the insanely popular LP “The Slim Shady”. One year later, Eminem released “The Marshall Mathers” album and continued in 2002 with “The Eminem Show” and two years later “Encore”. “Relapse” was released in 2009.

Earlier this year, Eminem told DJ Whoo Kid he is working on a new album that should be released soon. “I’m not that far along in the process as far as like figuring out” he told the radio host. The next step was to take the new album to Dr. Dre “and see what he thinks I’m missing”.

Last month, No ID said he and Eminem discussed a contribution to the new LP. “We agreed to get in the studio and see what we could do”. Even 50 Cent revealed he’s going to be featured on Eminem’s new album “first or second single”.

Rod Stewart Talks About Using Cocaine Suppositories

After Rod Stewart’s tumultuous memoir was released, some of his life stories got the public’s attention. Access Hollywood sat him down for an interview about using cocaine suppositories, sex and rock and roll.

It’s not much of a surprise Rod Stewart did cocaine suppositories, or that he had sex with thousands of girls (although he says it was just 50 or 60). In fact, we’re sure most legendary singers have a lot of stuff in their life they’re not proud of, but for some reason Rod Stewart opened up about putting cocaine up his butt. That’s too much information coming from a 67-year-old. I really don’t want to know what my grandpa did when he was young and restless.

Michelle Beadle with Access Hollywood sat down with Rod Stewart in what should have been one of the most awkward interviews of her life. Talking to a 67-year-old man about using cocaine suppositories isn’t exactly something that just comes up organically. It’s also hard to argue with someone saying he used to put cocaine up his butt “just as a social user”.

“As far as the drugs are concerned, I was never an addict” Rod Stewart told Michelle Beadle. “I was never, you know, in rehab. It never affected my family or my relationships or anything. I was just a social user” the 67-year-old rocker confessed.

And at that time, everybody was doing cocaine, including some of his fellow bandmates. Ron Wood managed to actually burn a hole in his nasal septum because of too much cocaine sniffing. “Did that scare you enough?” Michelle Beadle asked Rod Stewart. “Well, it scared Ronny, yeah it did, so then we found another method of taking the drug. We put them in a little pill like the French do them, suppository” he revealed. “We did that for a little while. Are we still on the air?” Rod Stewart later gushed.

In case you missed out yesterday’s breaking news about Rod Stewart explaining cocaine suppositories in his memoir, here’s the how-to: “So we started buying anticold capsules from the chemist’s, separating the two halves of the capsules, replacing their contents with a pinch of cocaine, and then taking the capsules anally” Rod Stewart dishes out.

Hm…cocaine suppositories, so now I know how a hard-core rocker parties…Mick Jagger do you have anything to confess?!

Lil Wayne Suffers Two Seizures In 24 Hours; Medical Staff Concerned

The medical staff at Louisiana hospital is now concerned about Lil Wayne’s health condition after the rapper suffered two seizures in 24 hours. They blamed overexertion for the artist’s dehydration and recommended him to rest in the following period, says the Associated Press.

The New Orleans-born rapper, Lil Wayne was on a plane travelling from Texas to Los Angeles when he suffered seizure-like symptoms on Friday. According to his reps, Wayne started complaining about a powerful migraine and soon after, he went into convulsions. The plane was immediately diverted to Louisiana and the rapper was transported to the closest hospital in the city.

Both the medical staff and the management team were worried about Weezy’s condition because the artist had just been released from hospital after suffering a powerful seizure on Thursday. Doctors concluded that the rapper – Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. on his real name – was exhausted because of his busy schedule and put him on “mandated rest”. Several hours later, Lil Wayne was released from the hospital; he checked out around 6 PM, but doctors will continue to keep a close eye on him.

The statement released from Blueprint Group on Friday read that Lil Wayne was hospitalized for a few hours due to a powerful dehydration. The singer is feeling g better already and will do his best to get back to work as soon as possible. Wayne also thanked his fans for the encouraging messages they sent to him during the period he was hospitalized.

This is the second time this year when Lil Wayne is confronting with health-related issues and needs to be rushed to the hospital. In August, the rapper was taken to a hospital in St. Louis after getting injured in a skateboarding accident. He was released from hospital the same day and told his Twitter followers that he had to get nine stitches for a “gnarly gash” above his left eye.

Did Rod Stewart Put Cocaine Up His Butt?

That’s a question I never thought I’d want an answer for, but Rod Stewart insisted on sharing the details of his tumultuous life in his new book, “Rod: The Autobiography”. The “Rhythm Of My Heart” interpreter talks for the first time about his relationships with women, drugs and rock’n’roll, according to Access Hollywood.

Like most aged interpreters, who were long forgotten by their now senile fans, Rod Stewart decided to make a last attempt at restoring his financial condition by publishing a new book “Rod: The Autobiography”. Details about his affairs with much younger women, as well as drugs-related stories have all been introduced to make the book more interesting and, hopefully, get a few people to actually buy it.

I may be wrong, but I specifically remember Rod Stewart coming out of the closet at some point in his lifetime, even though he had been married to six women and had eight children. The British singer seems to have forgotten the homosexual rumors as most of the stories included in the autobiography illustrate his past relationships with women. Stewart claims he has slept with 50 or 60 women, but he was only in love with his sixth wife, Rachel Hunter. The latter was only 21 years old, so the singer doesn’t blame her for leaving him, who was 45 at that time.

The British interpreter revealed he and his band mates used to take a lot of drugs in the 80s. They even resorted to an odd manner of consuming drugs when they found out their colleague, Ron Wood, burned a hole through his nasal septum from cocaine use. Probably thinking it would be safer this way, Rod and his friends made cocaine suppositories and inserted them in their butts. No, we do not know whether it was each other’s butts. Nor, do we want to know.

Another eyebrow raising story is related to the affectionate relationship that bounded Rod Stewart and Elton John for a long period of time. The two used to spend a lot of time together and even exchanged gifts during one Christmas party. Rod recalled that he was embarrassed when Elton bought him a $10,000 Rembrandt painting, whereas his gift was only $300. It was an alcohol dispensing fridge, in case you were thinking something else.
