So, to be able to perfectly prepare for his role in Fury, an upcoming World War II movie, Brad Pitt actually took lessons from real-life soldiers. Brad Pitt talked about this experience in a new interview with Details magazine. The star said that being in the presence of US military men and women has been a great honor for him.
“We were fortunate to have incredibly seasoned soldiers giving us their time and training,” the Hollywood star said. “I leave the experience with a more refined and delicate understanding of what we ask of our military. I am honored to be in their presence,” the actor added. “A soldier told me if you look at war closely, it’s ludicrous,” he explained. “So you don’t. You concentrate on the objective and the guys next to you.”
Without a doubt, soldiers are highly trained, but Pitt claimed that this is not enough. The famous actor revealed that the US does an amazing job getting soldiers perfectly prepared to perform in combat, but they need to also prepare them for the return home. There is a complex physic trauma that soldiers have to go through and they need help to be able to manage things properly, Pitt said.
The actor is not only happy with the experience he enjoyed working for this upcoming movie, but Brad Pitt also claimed that he got along perfectly fine with actor Shia LaBeouf. “Oh, I love this boy,” Brad Pitt said. “He’s one of the best actors I’ve ever seen. He’s full-on commitment, man. He’s living it like no one else, let me tell you. I’ve been fortunate to work with a lot of great actors. He’s one of the best I’ve seen,” the famous actor added.
Logan Lerman also praised the actor for his great commitment. The interest on the performance of Shia LeBeouf came in relation with the troubles that the famous actor has had during this summer. However, it seems that when it comes to work, LeBeouf is really dedicated.
