Famous comedian Bill Cosby continues to say that he is innocent, denying all the allegations that have been brought against him. The popular comedian actually went to file a counter-suit against a woman who accused him of sexual assault when she was only 15.
Cosby says that this woman is only trying to extort money from him. The woman accused by the star is Judith Huth. He claimed that this woman tried to extort money from him about 10 years ago. Moreover, the comedian’s lawyers said that the woman wanted to sell the story to a tabloid, but she later decided to ask the star for many for her silence.
The suit was filed by Cosby’s lawyers on Thursday. In the filling the star seeks no less than $33,000 from Huth and her attorney. This counter lawsuit comes about two days after Huth filed a lawsuit against Cosby, claiming that he forced her to perform a sex act back in 1974. The woman revealed that the abuse occurred in the Playboy Mansion. According to her, Cosby gave her and a friend alcohol.
The lawsuit reveals that Huth suffered from serious psychological damage as a result of the abuse. Cosby’s lawyers released a statement linked to these new accusations and claimed that they are “absolutely false.”
However, things are not looking very well for Bill Cosby, who has been linked to various allegations in the most recent weeks. Over a dozen women accused the comedian of drugging and sexually assaulting them. This is not the first time when the star is accused of sexually assaulting a woman. A similar case dates back to 2005, when a lawsuit was settled before it went to trial.
Bill Cosby’s career has been deeply affected by these accusations. The star’s comedy was canceled by NBC, while a series of live performances were postponed with no information on when they will be featured. Apparently, the accusations made against him are the ones to blame for the huge issues in his career. It is yet to find out if Bill Cosby is really guilty or not.
