Bill Cosby Admits Drugging Women?

One of the most debated cases at the moment is the one involving famous comedian Bill Cosby, who is accused by dozens of women of sexually harassing them. According to recent reports, court documents reveal that in a 2005 testimonial Cosby actually admitted that he got Quaaludes with the intention use it as a sedative on at least one woman. 

The court documents including this shocking statement were obtained by the Associated Press. According to the media provider, it requested for the court documents to be revealed to the public, but Cosby’s lawyer denied the request, saying that it would cause embarrass to its client. Well, the documents say that Cosby, under oath during an older lawsuit, admitted to have used three half-pills of Benadryl to sedate a former Temple University employee. 

This woman filed a sexual abuse lawsuit against Cosby, but the legal case was settled less than a year later, in 2006. The terms of the settlement remained private. The woman’s lawyers refused to comment on the case or on the revelations made by the Associated Press. Most likely, the settlement prohibits her from talking about this. However, some reports claimed that she was one of the women who sued Cosby for defamation, after the comedian alleged that they were lying about allegations. So, one of the two reports is yet to be confirmed.

Bill Cosby has never been criminally charged linked to sexual abuse on women. However, over two dozen women claimed that he sexually abused them, some of the cases dating even four decades ago. Well, Cosby himself never officially admitted the claims, while many stars said that the allegations were untrue. 

What will happen in this case is yet to be found out. Previously, Cosby claimed that the allegations seriously damaged his reputation. And the fact is that he had faced opposition and protests from many people. So, his shows draw fans, but also protestors who in some locations made the comedian have to cancel his shows. Moreover, because of the controversy created, numerous promoters decided to end their collaboration with the comedian. 

How the case against Cosby will evolve and moreover how the comedian will be able to set his career back on track is yet to be found out.
