It has recently seemed that Ben Affleck has been really open in talking about his failed marriage to Jennifer Garner. The popular actor has recently made an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ show and claimed that he and Jennifer actually are “good friends.”
So, during his appearance on Ellen’s show, Ben talked about his relationship with Jennifer and the former couple was actually praised by Ellen for managing to put their children first and leave their differences aside. And it seems that Ellen is right, as Ben and Jennifer have several times been spotted together alongside their children.
“We’re good friends and we’re doing our best and our kids are fabulous and we’re working our best for them and that’s…What are you gonna do?” Ben said. The comments were made only after a couple of days after Ben talked about Jennifer in an interview for The New York Times.
Back then, the actor said that he and his former wife were still in very good terms. “We’re on great terms. I just saw her this morning, so that’s the reality that I live in,” the actor clarified before adding that Jennifer is a “great person.”
However, Ben also talked during his interview about his new role, of course, the part in upcoming and much expected movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Ben claimed that the role has actually made his son believe that he is the real Batman. Ben talked about an adorable conversation with his son, in which Ben was actually asked if he was going to the Batcave. Ben also explained that he likes to star in this movie, as he hasn’t “done anything that my kids could see for a long time, so I thought that would be kind of cool.”
Ben also explained that he liked the idea of starring in something new. “I wouldn’t have wanted to try to copy what Chris Nolan and Christian Bale did,” he said. “They’re so amazing and those guys are geniuses. The idea was to try to do something different, he added.”
