There is no doubt in the fact that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to be the couple of the moment. The two are getting ready for their upcoming wedding and of course they are constantly in the spotlight.
One of the questions that have constantly been out there when it comes to this couple is how did Prince Harry and Meghan Market actually meet. Now, it has been claimed that the matchmaker for the two has been Violet von Westenholz, one of Harry’s childhood friends.
The fact that Harry and Meghan were introduced by a mutual friend was no secret. The two actually revealed this during their first interview together, claiming that the friend set them up back in 2016. However, they did not reveal at that point who that person was. Of course, because the name was not revealed, there was much speculation on this subject.
However, an insider has revealed now that Violet was the matchmaker. The insider made this revelation to E! News. The source said that Violet, who is a childhood friend of Harry’s, learned that the prince was having a hard time finding someone, so she decided to introduce them.
“It’s hard enough finding someone new to date. He can hardly go on Tinder or a dating app like normal people, but to meet someone that you actually connect with, that was proving to be almost impossible,” the source said. “It was something he had confided in his closest friends about; he was ready to meet someone but it was so hard to actually find the right person,” the insider went on to explain.
The insider claimed that at that moment Violet already had met Meghan. “Meghan had been a part of the London social scene for a while and had slotted into the high society set really easily. And so when Harry told Violet he was having trouble finding someone, Violet said she might just have the perfect girl for him,” the source concluded.
The source said that they were really the perfect match and they knew from the beginning that they were meant for each other.
