Famous singer Justin Bieber is at danger of being arrested. The star has to return to Argentina as fast as possible for questioning, after being accused of telling his bodyguards to assault a photographer. In case Bieber fails to respond to the summons related to the allegations, he might get arrested.
Judge Alberto Julio Banos issued an arrest warrant for the star and his bodyguards Hugo Alcides Hesny and Terrence Reche Smalls. The case is linked to an incident which occurred in 2013, outside a Buenos Aires nightclub. Bieber was accused of sending his two bodyguards, for which arrest warrants were also issued, to attack photographer Diego Pesoa. The man allegedly was trying to take some pics of the famous singer.
If the star and his two bodyguards will be found guilty, they will face a jail sentence between one month and six years. Since the event and the charges, Bieber has failed to return to Argentina for questioning. There is no wonder after all that a warrant was issued on his name. However, at this point it remains unclear if the warrant only covers Argentina or its jurisdiction extends over the boarders of the country. Some sources alleged that the warrant will determine Bieber to return to Argentina, so it might have international extent.
Allegedly, authorities will have to find Bieber and bring him to Argentina. The famous singer has not commented on the case, so it is yet to see what he plans on doing. Bieber might face jail in case he will be found guilty, so things are not looking that well for the popular singer.
The case dates back to the time when Bieber easily got involved in trouble. However, the star seems to be in a better place now. He recently apologized for his bad behavior, claiming that he managed to leave trouble behind. “There was really no preparing me for this life,” he said. “I was thrown into this at 12 years old and didn’t really know what I was getting into. There’s been moments I’m really proud of, and moments I’m pretty disappointed in myself for.”
