Each week brings so many rumors and reports about upcoming Apple products it has become really hard to keep track of them all. The latest reports come via a note to investors analyst Brian White has redacted about Apple’s iPhone 5, TV and iWatch. The Topeka Capital Markets analyst believes Apple will release an iRing motion controller for Apple TV by the end of this year.
This Wednesday, Apple Insider received news of a new product Apple is said to be currently developing. The website received a research note by analyst Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets that talked about the upcoming Apple TV release and a new accessory that should “revolutionize the TV experience forever”.
The iRing is a motion controller accessory for Apple TV that would be released later this year. This is by far a new concept, but White believes it’s going to work as a navigation pointer that allows the user to control the TV set. The accessory will be released along with a 60-inch iTV system that’s expected to have a smaller brother, sort off an iPad that can be carried around the house where people want to watch their favorite TV shows.
“Essentially, we believe the mini iTV screens will be able to capture content from the 60-inch iTV across a distance of up to 200 meters, allowing a user to view iTV content in the kitchen, washroom, garage, bedroom, backyard etc” reads Brian White’s note. “We believe Apple will offer one mini iTV per iTV, but package options will include up to four screens (i.e. one screen is part of the standard package and pay extra for each additional”, he added about the latest rumored Apple product.
Brian White also believes that iRing and iWatch will make it possible for the Apple TV and iPhone user to enjoy increased mobility around the home, without being forced to carry the smartphone or being limited to the living room couch.
One question remains: will Apple’s functional jewelry be just as sleek-looking as iPhone 5 and Mac?
