Apple has announced that the famous company will host an event on September 9. While Apple has revealed nothing about what it plans on presenting at this event, there are many rumors indicating that the popular tech company will actually reveal its new iWatch.
“Wish we could say more,” the announcement made by Apple says, but naturally Apple did not unveil too much. The event that will take place in less than two weeks will be hosted by the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, California. This venue is quite important in the history of Apple, as this is where Steve Jobs decided to introduce the Mac to the world. This happened 30 years ago.
Reports reveal that Apple will not present its new generation iPhone at this event, but the famous company will actually reveal the iWatch, which is the first wearable device released by the company. The iWatch has been quite an expected Apple release, this new wearable device being rumored for quite some time. Reports indicate that it will come with a series of new features, compared to other similar devices on the market.
One of the main features of the new product is the possibility to sync with the Health Kit Framework that Apple has built into the iOS 8 mobile operating system. This will allow users to monitor vital signals.
However, the iWatch is not the only important release that Apple is expected to make soon. The famous company is also expected to unveil two new iPhones. So, speculation is that this fall Apple will present two new iPhone 6 models, one that will come with a 4.7 inch screen and the other that will feature a 5.5 inch screen. Apparently, Apple is interested in releasing a larger screen iPhone, to be able to compete with some smartphones that currently are popular on the market.
Some reports reveal that the iWatch might also come in multiple screen sizes. However, nothing is certain for now, so it is yet to see what Apple will release for its customers and fans at the September event that was just announced.
