Amazon has launched another tablet, called Amazon Fire. This tablet is probably special for one reason: its price. At the cost of 50 dollars, this tablet will be affordable for any customer. The new Amazon Fire comes with the custom Fire OS 5 Bellini operating system.
This tablet is without a doubt an attractive option for customers who don’t care which the latest tablet on the market is or what technology it has. However, this tablet doesn’t come with an incredible technology under the hood, but at the price of 50 dollars you can’t ask for more.
The new Amazon Fire is a simple tablet, which is perfect for reading, watching videos, browsing the Web or light gaming. Of course, this tablet can also be used for shopping from the Amazon store. An interesting fact is that customers can buy six or seven Amazon Fire at the price of just one Apple or Samsung tablet.
It comes with a decent design, featuring rounded edges that feel comfortable in the user’s palm, and on the back there is a smooth plastic material, which is pleasant, too. Probably, it feels a bit cheap, due to its plastic construction, but because of its hefty weight, this tablet feel solid, which is perfect for travelling.
As it was already mentioned, this device runs Amazon’s Fire OS 5 Bellini operating system, which comes with some new features. To be added that this tablet doesn’t have access to all of the Android apps in the Google Play Store, but users can access the Amazon app store. Even if it doesn’t offer a large selection, there are plenty popular games, including Angry Birds, available for users. Moreover, Amazon Prime users can download any of the videos and TV shows available in the Prime library.
The Fire’s screen has a 1,024×600-pixel resolution and it is not a Gorilla Glass screen, meaning that it is not durable. To be added that it comes with 8GB of internal storage and can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Moreover, it has Wi-Fi, but it is not the fastest on the market.
