Actress Alyssa Milano, who gave birth to her first baby last week, reveals how she chose the name for her son. Milo Thomas Bulgiari was named after two important people in the “Charmed” star’s life.
Alyssa Milano is a mother for the first time in her life. The actress and her husband, David Bugliari, welcomed their first son last Wednesday morning at 9:27 a.m. He was 19 inches long and weighed 7 pounds at birth. The fresh mother tweeted hours later that she was thanking everyone for the good wishes and that she feels amazing. “My heart has tripled in size”, she said and added that she loves her son “more than all the leaves on all the trees”.
On Friday, Milano revealed why she chose the names “Milo” and “Thomas” for her baby boy. She posted a message on her Twitter page in which she stated that “Milo was named after his two grandfathers, Miller and Thomas.” The actress revealed that they were” very important” in her life. She also posted a short text about how motherhood feels like for her: “Breastfeeding. Poop. And bliss. I love being Milo’s mother!”
In mid-August Alyssa and husband David organized a baseball-themed baby shower which took place at L.A.’s Dodger Stadium. They invited 35 of their closest friends. The party was attended, among others, by Holly Robinson Peete, Colin Hanks and Jack Dorsey, the founder of one of the most famous social network: Twitter.
Earlier this year, at the premiere of “Limitless”, Alyssa Milano said that it felt great being pregnant. Apart from “a few pregnancy breakouts”, she was more than ok, “to the extent that I feel almost guilty” for not feeling worse. “[People come up to me and] give me the face like “How’re you feeling?”, like they’re expecting me to be l like “Oh, I just feel awful!”, she said.
