Al Pacino’s daughter, Julie Pacino, was arrested in New York City, on Saturday, for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Julie, who is 21 years old, was taken down to the station where the tests showed she has indeed been drinking, Associated Press reports.
Al Pacino, 71, has a rebel daughter. On Saturday night, Julie Pacino was driving on the streets of The Big Apple when the police stopped her at a traffic checkpoint on West Houston Street, in Manhattan. The officers got suspicious of her state and at 1:05 a.m. they took her into custody. At the station, she was measured the alcohol level in her blood. The tests revealed that the blood-alcohol level was indeed over the legal limit for a person who wants to get behind the wheel. However, the police did not reveal to the press the exact figures of the alcohol levels.
Julie Pacino is now in the custody of the Manhattan Detention Complex. There is no information available regarding how much time she would spend there, or if and when she contacted an attorney. A representative for Al Pacino was contacted for a comment on the matter, but Associated Press did not receive an answer to the email it sent, yet.
Julie is the oldest of the three children of Hollywood icon Al Pacino. He has two more kids, twins Anton James and Olivia Rose, with actress Beverly D’Angelo. Julie Marie, born in 1989, is his daughter with acting coach Jan Tarrant. She graduated in 2007 from the Tappan Zee High School and is a student at the University of California in Los Angeles. She is known for her talent in sports. She was a softball standout both in high school and at UCLA.
