Adele is without a doubt enjoying a lot of media attention these days. The famous singer’s latest song Hello is a huge success. There is no wonder that a series of questions appear for the star.
During a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Adele revealed that one of the questions that she is constantly asked is if she plans on posing for Playboy magazine.
Well, it seems that Adele is not very happy with this question. The star revealed that “I’ve been asked, ‘Would you do Playboy?’ so many f**king times, it’s ridiculous.”
Adele went on to say that she is not sure why people keep on asking her this question. “And is that because I’m a woman or because I’m fat?” she asked.
Adele went to say that even if she would have been thinner, she would have probably refused posing for the men’s magazine. “Would I show my body off if I was thinner? Probably not, because my body is mine,” the talented singer said. “But sometimes I’m curious to know if I would have been as successful if I wasn’t plus-size. I think I remind everyone of themselves. Not saying everyone is my size, but it’s relatable because I’m not perfect, and I think a lot of people are portrayed as perfect, unreachable and untouchable,” she concluded.
Without a doubt, Adele is certain that she will not be posing in a revealing pictorial. The star also said that unveiling her body would actually create comparison with other celebrities and she does not want that. “If they do decide to get their body out, I would rather not be that person because that’s just pitting a woman against another woman, and I don’t hold any more moral high ground than anyone else,” she said.
Well, meanwhile Adele could not be enjoying more success. The famous singer managed to top records with her comeback single. The song debuted on no. 1 on US Billboard and topped the UK charts. Hello also became the first song to sell over one million US downloads in just a week.
