Without a doubt, Motorola has reinvented itself in the recent years. In the last couple of years, the Motorola Company has released a series of interesting devices, from smartphones to brilliant smartwatches. These days, the giant manufacturer has unveiled another new product, called the Motorola Moto X Play.
This new phone comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display, a good processor, a great 21-megapixel and a pure version of the Android Lollipop operating system. Moreover, the new Moto X Play comes with a splash-proof body that will have the ability to protect its internals from several kinds of spilled drinks.
However, the main attraction of this device is probably its inexpensive price. Moto X Play comes at the price of 435 dollars, which is pretty affordable considering its hardware and features.
To be added that this phone is situated in the middle of Moto’s new lineup handset. The name “Play” comes due to its rubberized plastic material, instead of the wood and leather paneling that can be met at the original Moto X. Among its waterproofing features, Moto X Play gives the impression that it is made for tougher situations, good for travelling and it fits perfectly inside a jacket pocket.
Customers could use Motorola’s Moto Maker online tool to fully customize their phone, meaning that they can choose from 14 different colors for the back panel and approximately eight colors for the metal accents. This is an interesting feature and customers will be happy with because they can make their phone exactly how they want.
The resistance to water feature is another attraction that is welcomed, but to be added that Moto X Play is not designed to be fully submersible. This means that customers will not be able to use the phone at scuba diving trips or to make pictures under the water with its usage.
The new Motorola Moto X Play runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and it is probably one of the few companies who do not apply their own interface over the top. Moreover, this phone is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core processor and 2GB of RAM. This means that users could play more demanding types of games with the new phone.
